Our Founding
Founded on a legacy of expertise, our journey began with Tom Parfitt.
Tom Parfitt, a distinguished CPA and Ohio University graduate, established our first office in Waverly, Ohio, in 1979. Over the years, our commitment to providing top-notch financial guidance has only strengthened.
Our Merger
In 2022, Parfitt, Cooley & Associates was born, reinforcing our capacity to deliver unparalleled financial solutions.
In 1982, our Athens office opened its doors on Richland Ave, and in 2004, we relocated to our present address at 82 Columbus Circle, Athens. Our growth and dedication to serving Southern Ohio led us to a significant milestone in 2022 when Parfitt & Associates, LLC merged with the Athens office of Cotner, Cooley & Clark.
